The entire process took a year, during which we worked mostly at home, exchanging ideas and meeting in Patrick Djiva’s (bass, keyboards) home studio before the band recorded the album at White Studios in Milan, Italy. ‘We both have a great passion for sci-fi films. We have watched many of them together in the past. In the case of ‘Blade Runner’, we were asked the question: Do androids dream of electric sheep? – The world has changed around us. Computers are taking over, and Covid has accelerated this process. However, we firmly believe in the power of people to use their imagination and imagination. For us, that’s what really makes the difference between humans and androids.’ When it comes to music, the band sees themselves in a similar position as the Impressionists when it comes to painting: they didn’t paint fixed somatic traits for their figures with their brushstrokes, while PMF don’t see themselves as limited to a specific genre.
